Cancellation Policy

Accepted Answer

30% deposit upon confirmation of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to travel.
Cancelled more than 31 days prior to arrival: loss of deposit.
Cancelled between 30 and 20 days prior to arrival: loss of 60%.
Cancelled 19 days or less prior to arrival: loss of full fare.

Payment Policy

Accepted Answer

Full payment required 30 days prior to arrival, for groups that booked 4 tents and up, full payment will be required 60 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made via bank transfer or by credit card. Credit-card payments will result in an additional 4% fee.

·  All rates are quoted in South African Rand and is inclusive of VAT
·  Accommodation rates are all quoted for per person sharing or per single per night
·  Timbavati Reserve Fees are extra and subject to change, the conservation levy can be
   added onto the accommodation invoice. The gate fee must be settled at the gate   
   directly with either cash or card
·  The normal per person sharing rate will apply when 1 adult shares with 1 child (no single 
   supplement)
·  Shindzela has 1 family tent which can occupy max 3 persons (Adults with child)
·  Making use of Shindzela Rates will imply acceptance of our Terms and Conditions
·  Our rates may not be published in print or electronic at a lesser value than our 
   RACK/Published rate
·  Drones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the Timbavati Game Reserve, failure to comply 
   with this rule will result in a heavy fine or arrest by reserve management
·  No children under the ages of 10yrs at Shindzela
·  Children of all ages are welcome when booking out the whole camp, POR

Child Policy

Shindzela allows children 10 years and older. They are welcome to participate in all game drives.  There is one safari tent that can be converted to accommodate 3 persons - please double check with reservations if this is available at the time of booking. We welcome children of all ages at Shindzela when the whole camp is booked - please enquire with reservations for a special rate.

Safari Activities

Accepted Answer

Shindzela makes use of 2 open, spacious land cruisers for game drives which seats up to 10 guests comfortably. All safaris are conducted by a professional guide.

Drinks

Accepted Answer

Shindzela’s tariff excludes all drinks, except water from the dispensing machine.  Payment for these must be made in camp by credit card or in cash.
