RATES INCLUDE: accommodation, all meals, game drive snacks, teas/coffees, complimentary soft drinks, and two safari activities per day (game drives, night drive and/or walking activities).Rates are per person sharing per night, quoted in South African Rand, and are inclusive of 14% VAT
RATES EXCLUDE: Timbavati Reserve fees: R160 per person Conservation Levy (once off, not a nightly fee) R120 per vehicle (once off fees), alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, transport to/from camp. (Please note that Timbavati fee’s are subject to change without notice)
DRINKS BILLS & TIMBAVATI CONSERVATION LEVY: Please note that Shindzela runs on solar power, so we do not have credit card facilities in the actual camp. Therefore your bill for alcoholic drinks and the Timbavati Conservation Levy must be settled in cash in camp. For more information, please read our Pre Tour Safari Information.
CHILDREN: Regrettably, generally no under 12 years, although we will consider accommodating children of 10 & 11 years. Children pay full fare. If there is a family travelling with two adults and 3 children under 18 years, we will waive the single accommodation supplement for the third child who will be allocated a Single tent. Children 10 years and over may accompany adults on game drives, but no children under 16 years on walking safari activities.
WALKING SAFARIS: All guests staying at Shindzela may participate in walking activities. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are interested in walking. Please note that no children under 16 years on walking activities – no exceptions.
PRIVATE VEHICLE & GUIDE:Guests can opt to book their own private Landrover and guide during their stay. This incurs an additional fee of R1,750.00 (until 31st Dec 2012 ) or R2,100.00 (valid 01 Jan 2013 – 31st Dec 2013) – please note that this is still based on your two main safari game drives per day and not all day game drives.
