Regrettably, generally no under 12 years at permitted at Shindzela, although we will consider accommodating children of 10 & 11 years. Children pay full fare. If there is a family travelling with two adults and 3 children under 18 years, we will waive the single accommodation supplement for the third child who will be allocated a Single tent.
Children 9 years and over may accompany adults on game drives, but no children under 16 years on walking safari activities.
Please note that if you have a larger family group, there is also the option of booking out the whole camp, and then children of any age over 4 years can be accommodated. If you have exclusive use of camp, we can tailor your catering and game drive times to suit children.
