BOOK VIA EMAIL: Many guests have questions prior to booking their safari and we are always very happy to assist in answering questions, or give advice on touring in the area. Guests may book anytime by sending us an email: email@example.com, or by calling us on +27 15 793 1578 Skype: shindzelacamp (Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 08h00 – 17h00) Once we have made your booking, we will send you confirmation via email and follow the same payment process as listed below.
Special Dietary requirements: Please inform us at the time of booking, of any special dietary requirements. This can be added in the “special notes” section when you book.
Beds: Our accommodation is based on Double and Twin bed tents. However if there is only a specific TWIN or DOUBLE available whilst booking online and you have a different request, please tell us in the special notes section, and we can make up the room as you prefer( Twin or Double)
BOOK ONLINE VIA OUR WEBSITE: Guests may book online via the BOOK NOW button, and make a booking online. During this process you are asked if you would like to pay by credit card (and you can enter your card details) or you may take our bank details and pay inSouth Africa via an EFT (Bank deposit or Electronic Funds Transfer)
We will receive an email from our reservations software to inform us of your booking. If you have elected to pay by Credit Card, we will not deduct the safari fare at this point. Our Bank (First National Bank,South Africa) rather insists that you pay via a 3D secure online credit card link via a secure Payment Gateway (Virtual Card Services) where you can enter your card details and personal PIN.
This is in fact not only a banking security requirement, but also a requirement from VISA and MASTERCARD – it protects both parties as we are sure it is in fact you using your card, and you can be assured that the merchant is not utilizing your card for any other purposes other than for the payment of your safari fare.
Once you have made an online booking, please go to our PAY NOW button at the top of our website where you will be directed to our secure link. Here you can enter your FULL NAME as a reference, and the amount to pay by credit card.
If you are traveling later in the year, we will require the deposit amount, with the balance due at 30 days prior to travel. If you are traveling to Shindzela within 30 days, the full amount will be due.
The Shindzela office receives an immediate email payment confirmation once your credit card transaction has been approved, so we will be aware of your payment.
Please also check your email, as our reservation office will send you a booking Re Confirmation, and will request the following information from you:
- Pre Tour Safari Information, so that you are fully prepared for your holiday
- Self drive travel directions if applicable
What we need to know from you:
- Full names of all the guests travelling
- Any special dietary requirements
- Your planned arrival details (where are you travelling from?)
If you elected to pay by EFT or Direct deposit, please kindly email us a copy of your deposit slip to firstname.lastname@example.org.
PAYBILL PAYMENTS: For overseas guests who do not wish to pay with a Credit Card, we can send you a secure online link called a PayBill. This is also sent via a secure Payment Gateway (PayGate) and is similar to a credit card link, but it gives you a bank account in your home country in to which you can deposit your safari fare. Once you have made your payment in your home country, please email us proof of payment. We then send this proof of payment to PayGate – when they have cleared the funds in your country, they pay us the Rand value here in South Africa. The exchange rate used is the bank exchange rate applicable on the day of payment. Important: Once we email you a PayBill, you do need to complete the payment within 24 hours of issue of the PayBill, as they are influenced by currency fluctuations
We use PayBill’s for overseas guests and overseas tour operators a great deal, and it is a simple, effective method for international guests to pay us without having to use a credit card.
Booking via a Tour Operator or Travel Agent: Many guests do elect to book with their own travel agent (overseas or locally in South Africa) – we are always happy to work with your travel agent – please just ask them to get in touch with us via email or give us a call.
