Daily Johannesburg shuttle transfer
A daily road transfer shuttle service is in operation between Johannesburg and the Timbavati. Vehicles have all the relevant transport permits and each is covered by R50 million passenger liability insurance; their drivers are very experienced and have valid professional driving permits; This Shuttle Service is a SATSA (South African National Tourism Services Association) Bonded National Member (# 486)
The daily schedule is as follows:
O R TAMBO / TIMBAVATI, HOEDSPRUIT
05:30 – 05:45 Pickup Pretoria
Guests collected from their central Pretoria guesthouse/hotel.
06:30 – 07:15 Pickup OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg Airport
Location, Magic Bus, Car Rental Building area opposite the Domestic terminal

The meeting point is O R Tambo airport; however, if guests are staying at any of the hotels listed below, we can arrange a collection from your hotel:

13:15 Arrive Hoedspruit at Jos Macs Bush Pub. (Timbavati Gate)
You will be collected by a representative of Shindzela, and transferred within the Timbavati Reserve to the Shindzela Camp.
Please note: The Timbavati vehicle entrance fee is included in the per person transfer rate, but not the per person conservation fee of R160 each (01 March 2012 – 28 Feb 2013) and R 170.00 each (01 March 2013 – 28 Feb 2014), payable in cash at the camp. This is a once off entry fee, not per night fee
TIMBAVATI, HOEDSPRUIT / O R TAMBO AIRPORT
09h30 Depart from Shindzela Camp. Arrive Bones Bush Pub (at the Timbavati Gate) for collection
10:45 – 11:00 Depart Hoedspruit, Timbavati
18:00 – 18:30 Drop Off OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg
Guests dropped off at OR Tambo Int. Airport; make their own way from there.
18:45 – 19:15 Drop Off Pretoria. Guests will be dropped off at their
Central Pretoria guesthouse/hotel.
IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Please be advised that the shuttle will not wait at the pick-up locations beyond the following times: OR Tambo: 06h30 AND Hoedspruit (Timbavati Gate): 11h00. This is a shuttle, and guests will be travelling with others.
Should any clients fail to be at these pick-up locations by the above times, the shuttle will depart without them and they will be responsible for their own transfer arrangements, at their own cost.
The Company has a maximum total weight allowance of 20 kg per person per shuttle. Luggage must be in a soft travel bag. One travel bag is permitted per person. No hard suitcases are allowed.
Guests booking onward flights should book a domestic (within South Africa) flight from 20h00 onwards, and international from 22h00 onwards.
