There are numerous ways to reach Shindzela; fly in to local airports and book airport transfers, self-drive in to camp, or book the daily Johannesburg road shuttle.
Fly-In: Local airports include Hoedspruit, Phalaborwa or Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International)
Self-drive: We are approximately 6 to 6.5 hours from Johannesburg, 3 hours from the Blyde River Canyon, and 2hrs15 minutes from Kruger Park Orpen Gate
Johannesburg Shuttle: There is a daily road shuttle service from OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg, departing at 06h00 each morning (including Christmas & New Year’s day)
Please note that from the Timbavati Game Reserve Gate, we are about 50 minutes in to the Timbavati Reserve (only 33 kilometres, but you will be driving slowly)
